The more important finding is not on the pricing page. RAM Tracking's Terms of Service and a separate Lease Agreement Terms document describe the standard contract as an equipment lease arranged through a third-party finance company, called in that document "a non-cancelable, binding contract" which the customer "may not cancel...
for any reason.
So the published rate is honest and incomplete. Confirm in writing whether your specific plan is billed as a lease or as a simple subscription before you treat $14.99 as a monthly cost rather than an instalment.

RAM Tracking pricing
Start with the bundle anomaly, because it is the clearest thing on the page. Essential Fleet, which combines Core-equivalent tracking with the SD dash cam, is $24.99 per unit per month.
The SD dash cam bought alone is $28.99. If a camera is in scope at all, the bundle is cheaper than the single product inside it.
That is unusual enough to be worth confirming in your quote, and it tells you the published individual prices are positioning rather than a considered ladder.
All three bundles carry a 36-month term, which converts the monthly figures into fixed totals. Essential Fleet at $24.99 over 36 months is $899.64 per unit.
Advanced Fleet at $72.34 is $2,604.24. Fleet and Field Master at $105.27 is $3,789.72, with the job management component on a 24-month term rather than 36, so two clocks run at once.
Those are the numbers to compare against alternatives, not the monthly rates.
The lease terms are where the real commitment lives, and the language is unambiguous. The lease is described as a non-cancelable, binding contract which you may not cancel for any reason, including equipment failure, loss or damage.
It renews automatically for further periods of twelve calendar months and requires not less than three months' written notice, with notice able to expire at the earliest of the third anniversary. Title to the equipment remains with the lessor at all times, you acquire no right, title or interest in it, and you lease it as is.
A $150 administration fee is stated, late-payment interest runs at 26.82% per annum, and the lease notes rental payments total more than the equipment's purchase price.
Set that against the published alternatives in GPS fleet tracking, because the rates are close and the structures are not. One Step GPS publishes $13.95 per vehicle per month month-to-month with loaned hardware and a stated $95 non-return charge.
Quartix publishes $14.00 with installation included, a minimum period of 12 to 36 months, and then a cancel-anytime monthly rolling agreement. RAM Tracking's $14.99 Lite is within a dollar of both and may come attached to a finance agreement that cannot be cancelled for equipment failure.
The rate comparison is a dead heat; the contract comparison is not.
Read the Lite tier's specification before you treat it as the entry rate. It gives two-minute GPS updates, desktop-only access, three months of reporting history and manual mileage.
Core adds one-minute updates and driver behaviour monitoring, Plus adds the full driver app and compliance tools, and both are quote-only. In practice that means the published $14.99 is the price of the tier most fleets will not operate on, and the tiers they will operate on have no published price at all.

The published rate is not the whole commercial picture (RAM's Lease Agreement Terms describe the standard contract as "a non-cancelable, binding contract") but a price is stated publicly without a quote.
What the RAM Tracking lease adds
Ask one question first, in writing: is this plan billed as a lease or as a subscription, and which document governs. The answer changes everything downstream, including whether you can leave if a device fails.
If the answer is a lease, ask for the finance company's name, the total of rentals, the administration fee and the interest rate on arrears.
Price the term rather than the month. Thirty-six months at $24.99 is $899.64 per unit on the cheapest bundle, and the Fleet and Field Master bundle runs two different terms at once.
Put the full-term total into a total cost of ownership worksheet alongside a month-to-month alternative so the comparison is honest.
Diary the three-month notice the week you sign and keep the lease document with your contracts, not in an inbox. Renewal runs in twelve-month periods and notice must be not less than three months, which means a decision made in January needs action the previous October.
