Simply Fleet is built for the smallest fleets and prices accordingly. The free plan covers up to five vehicles.
Above that, Essential is $3 per vehicle per month and Advanced is $5, or $30 and $50 per vehicle per year on annual billing. Verified on its own pricing page on 30 September 2026.
Those rates are new. They rose on 15 September 2026 from $2 and $4, a 50% increase on the entry tier and 25% on Advanced, so any comparison quoting the old figures is out of date by a month.
Two add-ons sit on top and both are published: the WEX fuel card integration at 50 cents per vehicle per month, and small tools and equipment at 50 cents per item per month. Include them in the all-in figure, because at a $3 base they are a sixth of the rate.

Simply Fleet pricing
This is the cheapest published per-vehicle rate on this site by a wide margin, and the free tier is the reason to start here rather than anywhere else. A five-vehicle operation pays nothing for maintenance reminders, fuel logging and expense tracking.
A twenty-vehicle operation pays $60 a month on Essential or $100 on Advanced. Against the alternatives in fleet maintenance software, RTA's 100-asset minimum means its cheapest tier costs $600 a month whatever your fleet size, and Whip Around's last live rates were $5 and $9 per asset per month before its pricing page was withdrawn.
Annual billing is worth about 17%, which is a larger discount than most vendors here offer. Essential is $36 a year monthly against $30 annually; Advanced is $60 against $50.
On 50 vehicles that is a $500 difference on Advanced. Given the 14-day refund window and self-serve cancellation in the web app, the annual commitment carries less risk than an annual commitment usually does in this market, where Azuga defaults to four years and Spireon to three per solution.
The September 2026 increase is worth noting for what it signals rather than for the dollar amount. A 50% rise on the entry tier, from $2 to $3, is a large proportional move even though it is a dollar.
Fleets budgeting multi-year should ask whether further increases are planned and whether an annual prepayment locks the rate for its term, because nothing in the published terms addresses escalation. For comparison, Fleet Complete's terms state an automatic five percent annual increase and Zonar's licence agreement produced an exact five percent step in a public contract.
The tier difference is the gap in an otherwise clear card. Essential is described as lifting the five-vehicle ceiling while carrying the core maintenance, fuel and expense features, and Advanced as the fuller tier for fleets needing more than basic maintenance tracking.
That is not enough to choose on when the step is $2 per vehicle per month, which on 50 vehicles is $1,200 a year. Ask for a written feature comparison and check specifically whether work orders, parts tracking and reporting depth sit on Advanced, because those are the capabilities that usually separate an entry maintenance tool from an operating one.
Remember what the rate does not include. Simply Fleet is software-only and integrates with third-party telematics, with no hardware provisions in its terms at all.
A fleet needing tracking, hours-of-service compliance or cameras is buying a second product: published tracking rates start at $13.95 per vehicle per month at One Step GPS and $14.00 at Quartix, which is four to five times the Simply Fleet Essential rate. The honest comparison against a bundled platform is Simply Fleet plus a telematics subscription, not Simply Fleet alone.

What Simply Fleet add-ons cost
Start on the free plan if you have five vehicles or fewer, and use it for a full maintenance cycle rather than a week. The thing to test is whether reminders get acted on, which only shows up once a service interval comes round.
Baseline the current process first with a PM service schedule so you can tell whether anything changed.
Compute the all-in per-vehicle rate including add-ons before comparing. Essential plus the WEX fuel card integration is $3.50 per vehicle per month; Advanced plus the same is $5.50.
If you track small tools and equipment, each item is another 50 cents a month, which for a fleet with a hundred tracked items is $600 a year on its own.
Ask for the tier feature comparison and the rate-lock position in the same conversation. A $2 per vehicle per month step and a rate that rose 50% in September are both worth a written answer.
Then budget the telematics line separately and model both in a total cost of ownership worksheet, keeping vehicle records in a fleet asset register and fuel in a fuel purchase log until the software owns both.
