IntelliShift pricing and the non-cancellable work order
IntelliShift publishes no price, and the absence is more complete than usual: there is no pricing page on its site at all. Its own sitemap lists none, and the URL has never been archived.

No credible third-party figure fills the gap either. GetApp's listing reads "No pricing info", Capterra's reads "Contact vendor for pricing" and Software Advice's reads "No plan information available".
TrustRadius shows a starting price of $16.99 but states no billing unit, so it cannot be read as a per-vehicle rate.
What is public, and what buyers should read first, is the contract. Work orders are non-cancellable for convenience, renewal is automatic in one-year periods, and stopping it requires 90 days' written notice.
Hardware is included in the subscription, with a 30-day return window and an unpublished list price for anything not returned.

IntelliShift pricing
The non-cancellable clause is the finding. IntelliShift's terms state that "Work Orders are non-cancellable for convenience, meaning once a Work Order is executed, it shall be enforced for the term of such Work Order.
" Combine that with an unpublished term and an unpublished rate, and every number that decides the cost of the commitment arrives inside a sales process. Across fleet management software the strict end of contracting looks like this: Lytx makes subscriptions non-cancelable with payment acceleration on any permitted exit, RAM Tracking's lease document calls itself a non-cancelable binding contract, and IntelliShift enforces the work order for its full term.
The 90-day notice compounds it. Each work order renews automatically for successive one-year periods unless written notice is given at least 90 days before the end of the initial or then-current renewal term.
Ninety days is three times the common window: Motive, Verizon Connect, GPS Trackit and Route4Me all work on 30 days, Fleet Complete and Onfleet on 60 and 45 respectively, and only CalAmp, Transflo and Trimble match IntelliShift at 90. A missed deadline on a non-cancellable work order costs a full year with no exit available.
Hardware inclusion is favourable at the start and a liability at the end. The terms state the cost of equipment provided as part of a subscription is included in the cost of the overall subscription, which removes the device charge that Verizon Connect's government card prices at $106.80 per vehicle for installation alone.
The exit position is less comfortable: a 30-day grace period to return subscription equipment, with unreturned or damaged items billed at the then-current list price per telematics gateway or camera, or the replacement cost of other components. Then-current list price is not published, which distinguishes it from One Step GPS's stated $95 and $190 or Azuga's $70 to $499 band.
Because nothing is published, the benchmarking has to come from elsewhere, and three sources are solid. Verizon Connect's GSA rate card itemises base vehicle tracking at $15.95 per vehicle per month, ELD at $4.03, a road-facing camera at $19.95 and a dual-channel unit at $24.45, verified 13 September 2026.
Azuga publishes $25, $30 and $35 per vehicle per month with a $41.99 camera add-on. Two public school-bus contracts put base tracking at $14.70 and $14.99 with modules roughly doubling the figure.
Judge an IntelliShift quote against those and ask what the difference buys. If the shortlist is IntelliShift against a larger quote-only platform, Samsara against IntelliShift compares the two contract positions.

Why no IntelliShift rate exists
Ask for the master terms and a sample work order as documents before any demo. The five figures to extract are the rate with its billing unit, the initial term, the renewal and notice mechanics, what non-cancellable means in practice for a mid-term change of circumstances, and the then-current list price for each device type.
Negotiate the work order term rather than the rate, because the term is where the risk sits. A non-cancellable commitment of 12 months and one of 60 months are different products at the same monthly price.
If the term is not movable, ask for a defined right to reduce vehicle count, which is the change most fleets need mid-term.
Record the 90-day deadline the day you sign, and keep the device register current from the first installation. A contract renewal tracker holding the term, the notice date and the owner removes the single largest avoidable cost here.
Then run the evaluation as written procurement using a request for quote template alongside at least one published-rate vendor, and score both in a vendor evaluation scorecard so the comparison survives.

What to confirm in an IntelliShift quote
Read the non-cancellable clause first
Work orders are non-cancellable for convenience and enforced for their full term. Ask what the term is, what happens if the fleet shrinks, and whether any reduction right exists before you discuss price.
Get the billing unit stated
Nothing public says whether pricing is per vehicle, per camera or per asset. The one third-party figure in circulation, $16.99 on TrustRadius, carries no unit at all, which is why it cannot be used.
Diary the 90-day notice
Renewal is automatic in one-year periods and notice must be given at least 90 days before the end of the current term. Combined with a non-cancellable work order, a missed date costs a full year.
Ask for the device list prices
Unreturned or damaged equipment is billed at the then-current list price per telematics gateway or camera, and that price is not published. Get the figures in writing alongside the 30-day return window.
Treat included hardware as borrowed
Equipment cost is inside the subscription, which removes an upfront charge and means you never own the device. Plan the uninstall and shipping as a task with a budget before the term ends.
