Whip Around pricing after the rate card was pulled
Whip Around withdrew its public pricing page sometime between 16 June 2026 and 30 September 2026. whiparound.com/pricing now 301-redirects to the homepage, and the live page offers only Start Free Trial, Book a Demo and Try for Free with no dollar figure anywhere.
The vendor's own site navigation still links to that pricing page, so even Whip Around's nav now points at a redirect. There is no live self-serve rate card to check.
There is also a trap worth knowing about. Whip Around's orphaned /pricing-old/ page is still online and still in its sitemap, and it shows a superseded Pro rate of $10 against the $9 that was live on the main page as of 16 June.
Anyone pricing Whip Around today can land on either number from the vendor's own domain.

Whip Around pricing
Record the last confirmed-live card with its date, because that is the only defensible anchor. Basic was free for one asset and one user, described as "Free forever, no strings attached".
Standard was $5 per asset per month and Pro was $9, both up to 250 assets with unlimited users. FixedUnlimited was contact sales, covering unlimited assets, users and API access.
Those were live as of 16 June 2026 and they are historical now.
Two details in that card matter more than the rates. Maintenance, work orders and parts tracking were Pro-and-up only, which means Standard at $5 was an inspection product and the real entry rate for a maintenance platform was $9.
And the public API was gated to FixedUnlimited alone, the one tier with no published price, so any fleet needing an integration was in a quote conversation regardless of size. Gating the API to the quote-only tier is a commercial choice rather than a technical one, and it is worth asking about directly.
Set the historical rates against what is published today in fleet maintenance software. Simply Fleet is free to five vehicles, then $3 per vehicle per month for Essential and $5 for Advanced after a 15 September 2026 increase.
RTA publishes $6, $8 and $11 per asset per month with unlimited users on a 100-asset minimum, which makes its cheapest tier a $600 monthly floor. Both verified 30 September 2026.
Whip Around's $9 Pro sat above Simply Fleet's $5 Advanced and below RTA's effective rate for any fleet under 100 assets.
The contract terms are the part still published and they deserve attention. At the end of each billing period the agreement automatically continues for another period of the same duration unless either party gives at least 60 days' written notice before the end of the relevant payment period, and no refund is given for any remaining prepaid period.
On a monthly billing period, a 60-day notice requirement is longer than the period itself, which means you cannot give valid notice inside a single cycle. On an annual period it is conventional.
Establish which billing period applies before you treat the notice window as manageable.

Ask for both tier rates in writing with a date, and say which figures you are working from. A vendor that published $5 and $9 three months ago has those numbers; the question is whether the quote lands near them.
Note the date on whatever you are given, because this vendor has demonstrated it changes and withdraws pricing quietly.
Settle the API question early if any integration is in scope. Public API access was gated to the quote-only FixedUnlimited tier, so a mid-sized fleet wanting its telematics or accounting data to flow automatically may find itself priced as an enterprise customer.

Pin the billing period and the 60-day notice together, because the interaction is the risk. Then use the 7-day trial on a real inspection cycle rather than a demo fleet: load your actual vehicle list, run a week of walkarounds, and raise one genuine defect through to a repair.

Treat Pro as the entry tier
Maintenance, work orders and parts tracking were Pro-and-up only, so Standard was an inspection product. If maintenance is why you are buying, the $9 figure rather than the $5 one is your comparison point.
Check what tier carries the API
Public API access was gated to the quote-only FixedUnlimited tier. If any integration is in scope, ask which tier includes it now and what that tier costs, before scoping anything else.
Match the notice period to the billing period
The agreement continues for another period of the same duration unless 60 days' written notice is given before the end of the relevant payment period. On monthly billing, the notice window exceeds the period itself.
Note that nothing is refunded
The terms state no refund is given for any remaining prepaid period. Time any exit to a billing boundary and give notice well before it, because overpayment is not recoverable.
Count the asset ceiling
Standard and Pro were both capped at 250 assets, with unlimited assets only on the quote-only tier. A fleet near that line should ask what happens at 251 before committing to a per-asset rate.
